As a free, non-commercial non-profit organisation, Starlight's aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the site shall not exceed zero Indian Rupees (₹0), to the extent permitted by law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Starlight and its members, volunteers, officers, and representatives from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

Binding arbitration. The arbitration shall be:

• Subject to Indian substantive law.

Waiver of class action. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you waive any right to bring or participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding against Starlight. All disputes must be brought in your individual capacity only.

Exceptions. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Subject to the arbitration clause above, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India for any disputes not resolved by arbitration.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.

For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users. Continued use of the site after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
