The first edition of our Shedding Light on Light Pollution series opened with one of the most common questions we get - why should we care about light pollution?

How the evening ran

The second half of the session was dedicated on the essentials of skywatching, the different types of constillations, the coordinate system, celestial sphere and some astrophotography tips and techniques

The second half of the session was dedicated on the essentials of skywatching, the different types of constillations, the coordinate system, celestial sphere and some astrophotography tips and techniques

The last half an hour of the session was dedicated on astronomy, how stars form, how they die, what impact does it have, clearing the cloud around black holes and how humans are a product of stars

We wrapped up the evening with a Q & A session answeing all the doubts and questions from the audience about the topics covered.
