Citizen Science Sky-Quality Walk

A hands-on evening walk logging sky brightness readings across the city for the Globe at Night project. Participants learned to read the Bortle scale and submit their own observations.

Armed with phones, a printed Bortle chart and a few Sky Quality Meters, 18 volunteers walked a 4-km route across the university neighbourhood, stopping every 300 metres to record a reading.
